The UPEI Department of Athletics and Recreation was especially proud on Saturday during the afternoon convocation when UPEI women’s hockey player Jaime Lynn Donaldson was named the first recipient of the Rory Beck Outstanding Academic and Athletic Leadership Award.

Charlottetown, PEI (May 24, 2013)—UPEI women’s rugby Head Coach Shannon Atkins is pleased to welcome Island native Leah Corrigan to the Panther program for the 2013–14 season.
The University Sports Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the athletic programs at the University of Prince Edward Island, St. Dunstan's University, or Prince of Wales College. Each year, individual athletes, teams, and builders will be inducted to honour their contributions to the University's athletic success or community leadership. Anyone with an interest in UPEI, SDU, or PWC athletics is invited to submit nominations.
