Field Hockey Panthers enjoy a successful weekend

The UPEI Field Hockey team travelled to Halifax this weekend to compete in the SMU/DAL Invitational. On the opening day of the tournament UPEI faced SMU and DAL. SMU defeated UPEI 2-1 with the Panther goal scored by Hope Higgenbotham. The second game of the day saw UPEI and DAL finish off to a 1-1 tie, Sarah Sear was the lone goal scorer for the Panthers. UPEI finished the first half of the tournament with a tier 1 record of 0-1-1. 

The Panthers played three games on Sunday, which saw them defeat Acadia, MtA, and UNB. UPEI outscored their opponents 14-1 in those games.
