UPEI celebrates outstanding student-athletes at Awards Gala
The University of Prince Edward Island congratulates the 113 student-athletes who earned U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian (AAC) status for the 2024–2025 season. This number represents 51.4 per cent of UPEI’s 220 varsity student-athletes.

From October 30 to November 2, the UPEI Field Hockey program will welcome three visiting teams for the Field Hockey Canada U SPORTS Invitational, a national championship that will decide the country’s best.

The UPEI Panthers completed a stunning three-peat, capturing their third straight Atlantic University Field Hockey (AUFH) championship with a dramatic 1-0 shootout win over the Dalhousie Tigers Sunday afternoon.
The UPEI Panthers will host the Atlantic University Field Hockey (AUFH) Championship on October 19-20, with an opportunity to secure their third consecutive title. The Panthers finished the regular season with an undefeated 10-0-2 record, identical to their top rival, the Dalhousie Tigers, setting the stage for a potential showdown in the final.
