Bio

Mozzi has 10+ years of experience playing at the professional level. He moved here from the former Yugoslavia at a young age and grew up in Stratford, PEI, playing his entire youth on PEI with the Stratford Foxes - now known as Stratford Soccer Club.

From the ages of 17-19, Mozzi was a member of Professional youth academies such as NEC Nijmegen of Eredivisie in The Netherlands and Houston Dynamo of MLS in USA. He represented his country for the Canadian Youth National teams from U-18 up to the U-23 Olympic Squad. He played for several professional teams throughout his career - FC Tampa Bay (USA), Fleetwood Town FC (England), Austin Aztex (USA) Ottawa Fury (Canada) and Italian Eccellenza club U.S.D. Pistunina.

Mozzi started his own development program in 2019 - MOZZI TOTAL 10 FOOTBALL - to share his love for the sport and offer young footballers the chance to learn the game from a professional. Mozzi is excited to be involved in the sport as a coach and looks to help young athletes grow and achieve their goals.

He wants Island footballers/soccer players and athletes to know that if their dream is to be a pro or play at a higher level – it can be achieved. His impressive career as a professional player is proof of that.

This is his first head coaching role. He is not only looking to help open doors for the next generation, but he’s also excited to grow and learn as a coach as well.
