Bio
Nicole McInnis first joined the UPEI Women’s Soccer coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in August 2021 and is excited to return to the program this year, continuing to support the team’s growth and success both on and off the field.
A former goalkeeper, McInnis grew up playing within the provincial program and continued to play at the 2013 Canada Games, for Team Atlantic and at the National Training Centre. She is a proud alumnus of both Holland College and Acadia University, where she completed her playing eligibility.
McInnis has coached within PEI Soccer’s Provincial Program since 2014, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the sidelines, particularly within high-performance environments.
In addition to her role at UPEI, McInnis works full time as the Team Manager for Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team, a position she has held since 2023. Most notably, she was part of the staff representing Team Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, further strengthening her connection to the highest levels of the player pathway.
