UPEI Track and Field competitor Alaere Peterside will compete in the U SPORTS Track and Field Championships this weekend in Winnipeg. The championship is being hosted by the University of Manitoba at the James Daly Fieldhouse from March 7–9, 2024.

Some of Leah Campbell’s earliest memories are of family relay races on the beach. Her mother often told her that as a toddler she would “walk for just a moment before hitting the ground running,” and she’s been running ever since.
After last season’s strong showing at the AUS Championships, the UPEI Panthers' track and field team hopes to build on that success in 2023.
